I want to hire Video Artistry.  How do I book them for my wedding?

If you would like to hire us, you can give us a call or send us an e-mail to get started.  We will want to set up a meeting with you so that we can take the time to explain the different packages we offer and the services that make up those packages.  If you are only price shopping, simply tell us that and we’ll send you FREE information in the mail!  After you decide that you want Video Artistry to produce your wedding video, we require a signed contract and a small deposit to hold your day.

Will you be there for my rehearsal?

Absolutely.  We make it a point to attend every rehearsal, except in very rare circumstances, so that we can produce the best possible video for you.  During your rehearsal we will plan our camera setups, discuss any technical challenges or limitations, and discuss any last minute details with you, among other things.  Beware of any videographer that doesn’t feel the need to attend your rehearsal!

You guys are not the cheapest videographers.  Why should I choose Video Artistry?

When you make the decision to hire Video Artistry, you are buying quality.  For every hour of video we shoot we spend approximately 4-5 hours editing.  We go over every last detail of your video footage, frame by frame.  We put in the extra time to ensure that your video will be an heirloom for you and your family, not just some old DVD that gets lost in the entertainment center.

How long does it take to get my video back after my wedding?

Most projects can be completed in 4-6 weeks after your wedding day.  We will inform you if we expect it to be longer.

Can I make special requests?  I don’t see the option I want.

Of course!  We want your input!  We are more than happy to develop a custom wedding package for you.  Just tell us what you’re dreaming of and we’ll do the rest!

Wedding Service Options

Ceremony Coverage

Pre-ceremony –We will begin videotaping your wedding day activities one (1) hour before the ceremony starts.  We can make arrangements to arrive earlier if you desire.

Ceremony – We will record non-stop videotape of your wedding ceremony beginning with guests being escorted in until you and your new spouse leave the ceremony hall.  The audio for your video will be recorded using a very small wireless lapel microphone on the groom or officiant.

Reception Segment

Capturing the events of your reception is just as important as the ceremony itself!  Just think about it…the reception is where you’ll cut your cake, dance your dances, and enjoy the day with your family and friends.  Don’t let the memories of these events fade away.  Ask us about our Value Packages for exclusive deals on ceremony and reception coverage.

Cinematic Introduction (Movie Trailer)

Highly recommended!  The cinematic introduction brings together the important highlights from your entire wedding day and synchronizes them to music.  In essence, we’ll create your very own movie trailer to start your video.  You’ll get to choose up to ten special animated text titles.  This segment will catch everyone’s eye!

Love Story Segment

Your friends and family will love watching your love story unfold at your reception. We will arrange interviews with both bride and groom several weeks prior to your wedding day. We will also include a photo-montage of bride and groom from childhood until present day using photos you’ll provide (prints or high-resolution digital images). This segment is synchronized to music. We will provide royalty-free music at no additional charge, or you can provide your own. Ask for details about the use of music.

The Princess Bride

This option is an exclusive video session with the bride in which we will spend time with her to capture eye-popping video of her dress, shoes, jewelry and other accessories. We’ll shoot footage of her wearing her dress that showcases her elegance and charm and conduct an in-depth interview with her to capture her thoughts and feelings as her wedding day approaches.

Second Camera

Highly recommended! You will be very glad that you chose the second camera option because it allows the same event to be shot from different angles or two simultaneous events to be taped at the same time. The result is a much a more interesting video.  Having a second camera provides you with extra insurance against technical problems, tape & battery changes, camera moves, etc.

Editing

Editing is the "magic" that turns a standard video recording into a memorable and enjoyable movie. Editing gives us frame-by-frame control of what you see and hear in your video. It allows us to add features such as musical soundtracks, video title pages, and other special effects. Editing also allows us to remove unwanted or unnecessary footage, correct problems with video and audio, speed up or slow down time, and so on.

“Thank You” DVDs (Increments of 10)

If you would like a very unique way to thank your family and friends for supporting you on your wedding day, this option is for you!  You will get a ten copies of a specially edited highlights video with rolling text credits at the end of the video so you can say ‘Thank you” to your wedding party, friends and family. We will send your DVD’s in individual padded, postage-paid envelopes. All you have to do is address them and mail them to the ones you love. DVD faces are printed with a unique picture, a big “Thank You!”, the bride and groom’s names, and the date of the wedding.

Wedding party video credits / Thank you credits

This is a short segment in which each person in the wedding party will have a 3-5 second video appearance with their name titled on screen. We can use either random shots from the day or record each person in front of a common background.  Also includes scrolling text "Thank You" credits.

Wedding party text credits

This option includes rolling credits of your wedding party at the end of your video. Will include their name and their “job” during your wedding day.

Honeymoon photomontage

If you choose this option, we will use up to 50 of your honeymoon photos to create a fun and interesting photomontage at the end of your video. Photos should be professionally processed paper photos or high resolution digital images for best results. Set to music in the background.

DVD Printing

With this option all copies of your DVD will include professional-looking printed faces and jewel cases.  We will capture an image from your video to use as a graphic on your DVD.

DVD Menu

This option adds a Hollywood-style DVD menu to your video that allows you to quickly jump to different parts of your movie.

30 GB Video iPod

This option includes a 30GB Video iPod with your wedding video loaded on it.  The cost for this option is the retail price of the iPod plus a $50 loading fee.  This option is a great way to show off your wedding video to your friends and family no matter where you go!

Bronze Package $

Includes: Complete ceremony and reception coverage, “clean-up” editing and basic titles, DVD menu, and DVD printing.  Includes 3 copies of your video. 

Silver Package $$

Includes:  Everything in the Bronze package PLUS 2 camera coverage, rolling text credits, and 2 additional copies of your video (5 total).

Includes: Everything in the Silver Package PLUS movie trailer, upgrade to video credits, and 1 additional copy of your video (6 total).
